2. Use the 311 Service: You can report the situation through the MyLA311 app or by calling 311. This service allows you to report issues related to homelessness, including encampments. Make sure to provide details about the location and circumstances . Include it is a protected park under 41.18.
3. Call 211: For families with minor children experiencing homelessness, you can dial 211 to connect them to the Coordinated Entry System for Families. This hotline can provide additional resources and assistance .
4. Reach Out to Local Council Office: If the situation involves a persistent encampment, you can contact your local council member’s district office. It is recommended to report the issue and request updates on the cleanup process .  310-568-8772
5. Emergency Situations: If you encounter a medical or mental health emergency, call 911 for immediate assistance .
